Encaustic - Mixed Media

Participants will learn how to use encaustic wax, pigments, and various tools such as a Bunsen burner, heat gun, and much more. Building on this, further materials such as paper, collages, fabrics, photo transfers, pigments, ink, or natural materials will be integrated. Through layering, melting, scraping, and combining, multi-layered, expressive pictorial worlds with special depth and luminosity are created.
