Wood-fired marble marsh lime

This wood-fired, exceptional slaked lime has been carefully aged for more than 10 years, resulting in a semi-solid, silky-smooth consistency. The result is an extraordinarily pure, brilliant white slaked lime of the highest quality, distinguished by its particular purity and processing. It is excellently suited for demanding applications, especially for the diverse techniques of encaustic. Depending on the type of application and processing, fine to pronounced fissures (cracks) can form, which give the workpiece a distinctive, lively structure and individual character.
